Step back in time to a bygone era with a guided tour at Heritage Square. Docents provide information about the architecture and the families who lived in the original homes, built between 1876 and 1912 at our site. The tour is primarily an exterior tour and takes 45-55 minutes.

A Night Featuring Pete Escovedo & His Orchestra

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, Heritage Square in Historic Downtown Oxnard welcomes legendary percussionist Pete Escovedo & His Orchestra, joined by Peter Michael Escovedo, for an unforgettable evening of live music under the stars.

A celebrated musician, bandleader, and Latin music icon, Pete Escovedo has spent decades bringing his distinctive blend of Latin jazz, salsa, funk, and contemporary music to audiences around the world. This special Heritage Square performance gives the Oxnard community a rare opportunity to experience the Escovedo sound in an intimate outdoor concert setting.

The evening begins when doors open at 5:00 PM, giving guests time to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere at Heritage Square. Local favorites Fundi & Friends will perform before Pete Escovedo & His Orchestra take the stage.

The main show begins at 7:30 PM, featuring Pete Escovedo alongside his son, acclaimed musician and producer Peter Michael Escovedo, for an evening filled with world-class musicianship, incredible percussion, and the unmistakable energy of the Escovedo family.

This is a limited-capacity, ticketed concert featuring multiple seating packages, allowing guests to choose the experience that works best for them. Seating options include Reserved Individual Seats, High Top Tables for Two, Premium Tables for Four, and VIP Front Tables for Six.

Summer Concert Season

The Music and Party return to Heritage Square on June 12 through August 21, 2026, 6 PM - 8:30 PM! Get ready for a sensational 10-week season of performances from perennial fan favorites plus some exciting new acts to our community stage.

Note: The July 3, 2026 Summer Concert - Stars, Stripes and Sounds - will be held at Oxnard Plaza Park to commemorate America's 250th Birthday.
