Guided Tours

Step back in time to a bygone era with a guided tour at Heritage Square. Docents provide information about the architecture and the families who lived in the original homes, built between 1876 and 1912 at our site. The tour is primarily an exterior tour and takes 45-55 minutes.

Heritage Square hosts over 25 businesses, including a fine dining restaurant, coffee shop, and a visitor center with a gift shop. You can even take a glimpse into history with prohibition-style cocktails at a modern-day speakeasy.

8-Week Summer Series

Havana Nights Salsa Concerts

From June 4 through July 23, Downtown Oxnard will come alive with the sounds of salsa as the new Havana Nights Summer Salsa Series takes over Heritage Square every Thursday evening.

Created to bring live salsa music back to Oxnard following the conclusion of the city's longtime Salsa Festival, the eight-week series will feature an impressive lineup of internationally recognized performers, including Fausto Cuevas, Gabrielito y La Verdad, Rush Hour Orquesta, and Roosevelt Córdoba, El Presidente de la Salsa, along with other talented artists throughout the summer.

Guests can enjoy live music, dancing, and a festive outdoor atmosphere, with first-come, first-served seating, a live band each week, and a DJ keeping the energy going before, between, and after performances. Food will be available from Tacos El Del Gorrito and Churro Champ, while Q Club will host the event bar.

This is for all Oxnardians, from experienced dancers, to those who want to join in on lessons with DJ Jimmy Rumba from 6-6:30pm every week!

Summer Concert Season

The Music and Party return to Heritage Square on June 12 through August 21, 2026, 6 PM - 8:30 PM! Get ready for a sensational 10-week season of performances from perennial fan favorites plus some exciting new acts to our community stage.

Note: The July 3, 2026 Summer Concert - Stars, Stripes and Sounds - will be held at Oxnard Plaza Park to commemorate America's 250th Birthday.
