Havana Nights Summer Salsa Series Kicks Off
Get ready to dance—salsa returns to Downtown Oxnard this summer with the debut of the Havana Nights Summer Salsa Series, taking place every Thursday for eight weeks at Heritage Square.
Bringing live salsa music back to Oxnard following the end of the city's longtime Salsa Festival, this new series will feature world-class performers, beginning with Fausto Cuevas on June 4. Cuevas has shared the stage with legendary artists including Stevie Wonder, Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz, and Donna Summer.
Havana Nights is designed as a true salsa experience, featuring a live band each week, 30 minutes of salsa lessons beginning at 6am, a DJ to keep the party going between and after performances, first-come, first-served seating, dancing, food vendors, and a full-service bar hosted by Q Club.
Guests can also enjoy food from Tacos El Del Gorrito and Churro Champ.
Whether you're a longtime salsa fan or just looking for a fun summer night out, Havana Nights promises music, dancing, and a vibrant community atmosphere in the heart of Oxnard.
